Steaks
From selected loins we cut steaks to customer specifications.
Most common ranges are as follows:
- Thickness – 1.5 to 3 cm
- Weight
- 90-110 grams
- 120- 140 grams
- 140-160 grams
- 180-220 grams
These will be first sorted to achieve target size range.
Steaks can then be further conditioned and packed (variable or fixed weight)
- Glazed and placed in bulk into cartons with a plastic liner.
- Glazed and BVP (Bulk Vacuum Packed) into cartons.
- IVP into cartons - bulk.
- IVP into various types/sizes of sealed retail bags.
- IVP into retail boxes of various types/sizes.
